Teachers Service Commission Announces Vacancies for 435 Secondary Teachers

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC – Shikshak Sewa Aayog) has made a significant announcement for aspiring educators. They are opening positions for 435 secondary-level teachers. This news is crucial for those seeking opportunities in the education sector. Below are the key details and requirements for interested candidates:

  • Publication of Advertisement: The TSC’s advertisement for these positions will be published in Gorkhapatra on Sunday, 24 December 2024. This serves as a starting point for interested candidates to gather detailed information about the vacancies.
  • Online Application Process: The application process is streamlined and accessible. Prospective candidates can start filling out the online form from 10 am on Sunday, 24 December 2024. This digital approach simplifies the application process, making it more efficient for applicants.
  • Provincial Basis Recruitment: Following last year’s approach, the TSC plans to recruit teachers on a provincial basis. This method ensures a balanced distribution of educational resources across different regions.
  • Educational Qualifications:
    • For subjects like Nepali, social studies, economics, and Sanskrit, candidates must hold a graduation degree in the relevant subject and have undergone at least 10 months of educational training.
    • In contrast, for subjects such as English, mathematics, science, office management, accounting, and computer science, candidates can apply even without educational training.
  • Application Deadlines:
    • Regular Fee Deadline: Applicants can submit their forms with the regular fee until Monday, January 22, 2024.
    • Extended Deadline with Double Fee: There is an option to submit applications with a double fee until Monday, January 29, 2024.
  • Comparison with Previous Year: To put this in perspective, the TSC had demanded 718 secondary teachers last year, indicating a fluctuation in the demand for educators.
